Thank you for posting--As I said on the CIEN thread, the DWDM
gear from CIENA is better than that of LU and CIEN has products now.
The 40 channel unit makes more sense to carriers than 16 anyway.
I believe this is the situation with WorldCom also. Good news !!

Now, why is it that CNBC confused this very important factoid ??

< Word on the street is AT&T cancelled (did not order) the 16
< channel units but is ordering the 40
< channel units - too bad we only are advised the cancellation.

< AT & T is not waiting for LU to develope this leading
< technology.
