Personal calls, that's very nice. No way I could have done that - the number of letters I sent was up into thousands. Got back a number of very touching responses... but... t'was time to move on.

Will be interesting to see how frontline medical care will evolve in the future. I tend to agree with LB that the "staff model HMO" where doctors are employees is promising. After all, corporations is what America does very well.... even though this assertion may no longer be quite as convincing, considering events of the last year or so.... :)
