since actual units is all that counts. %'s are meaningless. most the Japanese are going broke and they beat cpq and dell and hp on the % growth. dell should have bot DEC. that would have stuffed cpq good. but, this will not be obviuos for 12-24 months. I think cpq gts cheap 64 bit chips out of this deal too. the future chips are dirt cheap for dec and cpq now and tandem. dell getting DEC would have really moved them up for the future.
