Bosco,
Your analysis of Russia hits the nail on the head. It's investor psychology - it's fear and geed mode - and investors are wary which route currently prevails. There's also a major cause for EVEN LOWER INTEREST RATES ahead. But this disinflation may turn out to be quite benign. Recently I read some pointed arguments that lower government spending means less crowding out and even lower rates.

I think that investors will have to get used to that. I don't see the market in a bearish mode - rather the contrary. I'm no chronic bull but this time I think the tail wagged the dog long enough. Regarding self-analysis I examined the same behaviour of myself. And I pracised abstention to a good deal - checked hardware news instead of the ticker <g>

best regards
CROSSY

BTW: on HICO, I think they will once hit NASDAQ NMS. But right now this is no party time for smallcaps. The broader market has to provide enough leadership first..
