( BW)(IMMUDYNE)(IMMD) ImmuDyne Inc. Prepares Launch of Two New
Products for the Ornamental Fish Care Market

Business Editors

HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 16, 1996--ImmuDyne Inc. (IMMD)
has developed two new products for ornamental and game fish
featuring ImmuDyne's immunostimulant ingredient, ImmuStim(TM).

The products are ProTropica(TM) Professional Grade Tropical Fish
Feed and ProTropica(TM) Shipping and Handling Bath Concentrate. Pet
Age Magazine's 1996 Retail Report of fish owners in the United
States estimates that approximately 19% of American households own
ornamental fish supplies, for a total market in excess of
$2 billion. ImmuDyne has targeted a specific portion of this market
with its ProTropica products.

The Harbor Branch Oceanographic Institute (HBOI) is
internationally recognized as a major research and education
facility in all aspects of the marine sciences. HBOI's Aquaculture
Division has tested and is now using ImmuStim(TM) effectively with
cultured redfish, hybrid striped bass and marine ornamental fish to
reduce opportunistic infections and losses from stress.

As a major producer of seven species of Clownfish and other
marine ornamental fish, HBOI has found ImmuStim(TM) products to be
very effective in stress reduction during handling and after
anesthesia, with faster return to normal feeding and breeding.
Unusually high spawning rates have also been noted at HBOI as well as
other commercial tropical fish breeding facilities that have tested
and are now using ImmuStim(TM).

The HBOI Aquaculture Division has expanded its use of ImmuStim
enhanced feeds in game and food fish. Researchers and culturists
at Harbor Branch have noted decreased mortality from shipping,
handling and opportunistic infection mortality in Snook and Pompano
(both highly valued as game and aquaculture food fish).

The ProTropica Product line of products is designed to intensify
coloration and nutritionally protect ornamental fish from the
stresses and abuses associated with environmental shocks, catching,
shipping and handling, and those additional stresses to which the
inexperienced hobbyist might subject them.

Use of ImmuDyne's bath treatment with these often highly stressed
fish has resulted in marked improvement in coloration, equilibrium,
swimming and behavior. By increasing initial survivals and
successes, more aquarium beginners will continue with the hobby and
contribute to the overall growth of ornamental fish industry sales.
