The neocons took advantage of 9/11 to implement an agenda they had been pushing for many years.
Iraq was the first step in that agenda.
They cynically used America's grief over our 3,000 dead to lie us into a war that was against the United State's interests at the time.

If there were any justice in the world, they would be put on trial for treason and face the appropriate punishment (I vote for public hanging).
