Again, I'm afraid that your "anti-NAT" emotions have got ahold of you. Most of the ISPs (including the ones that
you mentioned) have recognized that "throttling" the connection (i.e. setting the size of the pipe you get) is the business they are in. How you use it is up to you. They *can* charge you for additional IP addresses ... but again,
not the number of machines.


I guess you have not read @HOME's policies. Now there I know your wrong. WHY - my buddy - just today in fact - told me that he just received his warning letter that they have identified his port to have a NAT and FTP server in use. He was told to shut it down or they will shut him down.

So sorry - but @home is not as advanced and visionary to your thoughts of how an ISP should be treated as you thought.
