Kerry has peaked and come convention time, he will probably barely be able to get back to these numbers. Bush is at rock bottom now and can only go up.
Appearing on Russert showed guts as well as making a great bet on an interviewer who shows a certain respect to the office. Bush only hit a double on Russert because this setting is not his best but Russert's soft ball approach helped greatly to this end.
Kerry will stay about even and will begin to fade in august and by the end of august after the Republican convention bush will be well ahead. mike
