great info from the AGPH presentation in Florida.

Does anybody have an opinion on the following related to the HIV incidence information:

1 - estimate of net new HIV patients in the US yearly
2 - what are the reasons undiagnosed patients are undiagnosed?
3 - why are the patients who are diagnosed but not under care not under care?
4 - is there any study done on these issues that is available online?

HIV Patients in US 900,000 est.
Undiagnosed 288,000 - 32%
Diagnosed, not under care 318,000 - 36%
Diagnosed, under care 294,000 - 32%
Of these under care:
No teatment 57,000 - 6%
Non-PI 54,000 - 6%
PI + 183,000 - 20"
