I think congratulations are in order to Diamet and BHP after
the first official day of operations of the first full scale
diamond mine in North America. They won the race to this achievement.

I remember when Fort a'la Corne was more advanced than Lac de
Gras. Chuck Fipke was peddling his services to the Saskatchewan
goverment writing reports on the potential of Sturgeon Lake.

What a crowning achievement for a well run race.
