Yup, you're correct. Interesting that the micro SD card is part of the Switch 2, maybe one comes with each console.

But the controller price is going to be modest.
I'm not sure what current controller prices are. Used to be roughly

eMMC = 25 cents
UFS = 50 cents
PC SSD = $4-$5.

In recent presentations the new IR guy talked about UFS being a "few bucks", the new 6nm PCIe Gen5 being $10 or more, depending on firmware and etc, and not sure what he said about the average PC SSD controller price.

I was surprised at the increase in UFS average price per chip (if my recollection is correct).
