"I think it depends on what party is in control of the Federal government as to whether the left wing supports the concept. " For the last 8 years the left has pursued policies designed to wreck the government knowing they would not be enacted - but would aid in the effort to make Bush look bad. Now that they have to govern a lot of stuff that was rhetoric will soon be forgotten. I hope - but do not expect - the media to hold the biggest loons accountable - ie Harry, Nancy, Chuck and Barney! I suspect Card Check will not see the light of day for instance. It will be interesting to see to what extent Barrack rolls over for the UAW.
