BNO I did OK with it in 1999 and 2000, although in both cases I had to sell it for a short gain in the 1st Q.<g> This year the uptrend has lasted longer and on April 28 already traded above the March 1999 H of 5.18.<g> I am looking for it to test the 8.50 level pretty soon.<g> The 2nd Q report should be good with the income from the Artic Gas sale and redemption of more than $100 M of their 11 5/8% notes and $20 M of their 9 3/8% notes which is expected to save them around $0.40/share in interest/year. The main reservation I have at present about BNO is the situation in Venezuela. I will be much happier if Chavez is taken out of the picture, but it seems he may stay there for a while.(I hope not as long as Castro has been in Cuba.<g>) RAGL Bernard
