Dauphin Announces Several Domestic & International Agreements; OraLynx Set-Top Box Progress on Schedule
     PALATINE, Ill.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 30, 2001--Dauphin Technology, Inc. (OTC.BB: DNTK) today released information pertaining to several business engagements including sales agreements, partnership arrangements and expansion plans, domestically and abroad. Such information is provided in an outline format in this release, to be followed by detailed individual releases in the immediate future. 
  "Our silence during the last few months has not quite represented our accomplishments during this period," comments Mr. Andrew Kandalepas, CEO & Chairman of Dauphin. "We have been positioning our products and relationships in tandem for superior market penetration as soon as production units of our two advanced products are ready to market in the very near future," Mr. Kandalepas added. 
  -   Dauphin's smart Set-Top Box, the OraLynx(TM) is progressing on 
  schedule and close to the start of production. Pre-production 
  units have been delivered to Estel Telecommunications, S.A. in 
  Thessaloniki, Greece during the week of January 22, 2001. 
  Deliveries of the units are in accordance with the 
  requirements specified within the contract between Dauphin and 
  Estel signed on August 31, 2000. 
  -   Two sales and distribution agreements have been signed with 
  BEST Communications, S.A., located in Greece, whereby BEST 
  will market and distribute Dauphin's products throughout 
  Europe and the former Soviet Union. One agreement involves the 
  OraLynx (TM), and the other one involves the Orasis (R). 
  -   A joint development and sales agreement has been signed with 
  Danaos Peripherals, LTD, a world leader in software 
  applications for the shipping industry, headquartered in 
  Piraeus, Greece. For several months now, Dauphin and Danaos 
  have been jointly developing a wireless Orasis Tablet PC 
  Solution to be used by Danaos' customers on vessels worldwide. 
  -   Dauphin has started its expansion strategy in Europe with the 
  opening of a sales, marketing and customer service/support 
  center in Piraeus, Greece. Location and executive management 
  selections have been decided. 
  -   Dauphin has entered into a technology partnership with Virata 
  Corporation to incorporate Virata's newest voice over internet 
  protocol (VoIP) technology into Dauphin's smart Set-Top Box, 
  thus making OraLynx (TM) the first STB to include the most 
  sophisticated technology for Voice over the Internet. 
  -   The company has identified and is currently involved in 
  serious negotiations with several US companies for potential 
  merger(s)/acquisition(s) and strategic partnership(s).

  complementary performing US Companies in efforts to maximize 
  its vast and expanding business opportunities.
