I would estimate that our intranet took about a year in total to implement, but it was done in stages and is an ongoing process. I know that about 4 company staff were responsible for it, but no idea how many contract personnel were involved. Keep in mind the size of what I am talking about here - we have something like 40,000 employees. A 'packaged' product would certainly be quicker. This was essentially a custom job.

P.S. I used the words 'ongoing process' above. It strikes me that maintenance and expansion - basically a service contract - might be just as lucrative for FNTN as the initial placement. Fairly exciting thought?
