fred, i'm a very simple trader, i never shorted a stock, covered call, options or any other type of trading.....i keep it very plain and simple just trying to buy low and sell high....i do have my few longs and i mostly try to position trade (holding anywhere from 2 days to 2 weeks) but lately with the way the markets are and even though this thread is for position plays i have been doing more day trading.....and i sleep better at night.
