Teflon, Those comments in the article you posted about the dropping tracking stock idea and instead spinning off divisions should sustain the stock run up in MSFT. The other items like the new MSN head along with the Java ruling may have only caused short term blips (upward).
Once mutual funds and investors realize the potential from spin offs, the selling pressure will subside and this stock should take off. Unfortunately, i had not heard this spin off part of the news during the day. If i had, i would have done some more shifting to make MSFT 50% of my holdings instead of the approximately 30 to 35% it is now.

Oh well. Maybe some more ill-advised investors will take profits on it so that i can reach my target percentage.
I have to say it feels kind of strange for MSFT to move up like this and me not holding some call options. <ggg>
