Parabolic rises almost always doom the stock to lengthy periods of consolidation. Almost always. Especially when its completely overdone as it most certainly was with SSPI / SSY. Its not hurtful to those who were in eons earlier, but sure is to the recent devotees (which is one reason why it takes a long while for things to clear up). I'd rather see something on the mend go the slow and steady step ladder approach any day... Personally I don't care much, although I do know some SSPI / SSY insiders and no doubt they are good for a lunch about now.
