Investment Overview
Fidelity Mid-Cap Stock Fund seeks long-term growth of capital. The fund normally invests at least 65% of assets in equity securities issued by companies with medium-size market capitalizations. Companies that fall within the capitalization range of the S&P MidCap 400 are considered for investment. The fund's equity investments may include common and preferred stocks, convertible securities, and warrants. It may invest up to 35% of assets in debt securities, including those rated below investment-grade. The fund may also invest in foreign securities.
