Young and All:

I have never posted on this thread before, but have been long Iomega since January and certainly share your enthusiasm about the prospects of this growing company. I was aware of the 5 page advertisement someone spoke of in Newsweek, but I did not realize it would expand to other magazines so quickly. I just started receiving HOME PC magazine and in the July issue there are 6 pages of Iomega ads. 5 for zip and
1 for ditto. They are all pretty clever and humorous. The bottom line is they portray that EVERYONE has or wants a zip drive. Not just the techies, but all people from Doctors & Lawyers to Pageant winners and 10 year old kids. I find this a very effective ad especially since it follows the June issue in which the magazine rated various tape backups and external drives. They gave top honors to the zip drive over the Syquest ez135 and gave a pretty good comparison of each. The testers in the comparisons were all lay people. Now the new ads portray similar people wanting zips. I can post if anyone is interested. Looks like Iomega management continues to excel.
Best wishes to all.
Dave
