It would seem to me that the two stocks should have direct proportionality as far as price(within the range of the .9 valuation at least) and volume. Last I checked AMTX was up 5/8 at 15 and WSTL up 1 at 17 so that gives about a price ratio of .88 which is pretty close to the merger valuation but the volume of WSTL was about 4 times that of AMTX which throws my reasoning off. It just reminds me of how little I really understand what makes the market tick. Then again, it's really hard to make any judgements when both stocks are trading on relativley low volumes anyway.
