After the idiotic "very comfortable"--yes! First they gave creedence to rumor, second they failed to clear up the questions. If earnings momentum intact: "earnings remain on track" "rumors untrue" Or to get bad news over with: "earnings will be in line with estimates." It is absolutely legit. to question Ascend. I have not turned bearish, I am simply questioning the cause of the market action you worry about as well. It would be stupid to fail to analyse this possibility. My estimates are as bullish as your guru, but they do not have to be correct. Something has caused this. Getting the news out-good or bad-can spark a huge rally. They are not going out of business. People just need to know whats up before placing new bets. Matthew
