Re: "Are you happy or should 5 billion more be added to the deficit?" Depends on what's in the bill. Was the $400 million in the anti-terrorism bill earmarked for election reform needed? Of course. Is it "pork politics" for the Senate to give in to Trent Lott and agree to spend millions on programs the Navy doesn't want? Yes. Just because non-ancillary legislation was contained in the anti-terrorism bill does NOT make it pork.
