Wish I had kept all of my old tax records,
because I can not rememeber all of my gold stocks.

Remember playing with RSA stocks around 82/83

Owned Impala Platinum when it was politically incorrect
and my broker sent me a stock certificate because they
could not hold RSA shares in street name.

Owned lots of Pegasus in 1987 (I think)
Also took all my 100ounce Englehard silver bars to the coin
dealer around $9, and have never bought silver bullion again.
What a pain dragging around to coin shows just to make 20
cents an ounce profit.

Played RSA hard in 1993. Anyone remember Orange Free State ?
It held only Free State shares and traded at a discount,
so made money three ways: gold rise, discount shrink, and
improved perception of RSA) There used to be about 40 RSA
gold stocks, all consolidated into 4.
Also caught Plexus Resources, which became Kinross Gold.

Took a nap from 1996-to-1998, then caught most of the good run
from 2000 into 2002, then went over to base metals, then oil stocks.

Gold used to be fun, now I'm just old, tired, and cranky !
