If we do accept a "The Tao of... " title, one of our early discussions must concern the definition of Tao, whether we are stretching and abusing a word because it sounds neat, whether English can HAVE a Tao in the first place, and, perhaps most important, whether if English has a Tao we must abandon any commitment to prescribed and limiting rules of spelling, grammar, and the like and spend our time here meditating on the life force of English and where IT wants to go, ourselves merely being followers of the force and having no concern for guiding or controlling it.
