I find your story hard to believe. There is no "sell all" feature that you mention on the ETRADE site. I also find it hard to believe that an ETRADE rep would tell you you could cancel a market order. I find it harder to believe that you would believe someone who told you that. My market orders go through in about 30 seconds with E*TRADE. I have been using them for 4 accounts and have never had a problem over the last 2 years. I really hope you're not making this up.
