These "dismal" Q3 earnings were anticipated three months ago. If the loss is only 70 million, I'd consider that better than expected. Q4 is the important one. If profitable, the media will spare Apple. In the meantime, expect the media to mutilate Apple over the next couple of weeks with more proclamations of the death of Apple.
