It happened while Microsoft was pitching the tents and icing the shrimp for the Windows95 launch party. They woke up to the fact when Netscape integrated Java into Navigator 2.0 in October.

Computerdom must all be switching to Win32 by January, and Netscape must have abandoned further client development.
