but by killing off the domestic birds, it reduced the risk of the virus mutating into something that could spread by human to human contact. How so? It seems the birds die off pretty fast on their own. But before they die, they infect other birds. Those that are resistant should be kept around. How long does it take before you know if they are resistant? Does anyone know?
