Hello Buzz,

>> I first read
about this stock in Businesss Week about eight weeks ago, and it had
gone from 16 to 69 in 3 months when a new CEO had taken over and
invoked a new accounting system, while the old CEO was alleging that
this was against SEC regulations. I decided then that I was going to watch
VIAS for an opportunity to short.>>

What a great story! Sounds like a good way to start a great company - fire the accountant.

The chart could be called "Twin Peaks."

I'm not familiar with this sort of chart except it has goofiness written all over it.

Seems destined for the 20s if not 15. From a brief look it seems they write work arounds for computers that are going to stall in the year 2000.

Low tech, low skill, labor intensive. But maybe lots of work. AT 50 at P/E of 53. Sounds solid. :>

I think technically it could retrace to a maximum of the mid 50s. But even if I was short and in the hole that wouldn't bother me too much unless you're getting killed by margin.

By the way, what are these guys going to do in the year 2000?

Good luck
