Much faster than PP or at least it doesn't bog the system down like a PP drive. Allows me to watch Keb Mo videos without a hitch. Uses lots of caching which does make the copy speed deceptive. Drag over some huge files and they just scream to the drive till....they run out of cache and then it gets pokey. Anyway, this is the first USB storage device I've played with and I think that it will make a nice interface for slower devices.
