This post revealed a great deal!

“They were living in a cave moron not out clubbing.

LOL! I suppose you think your name-calling reveals your Christ-like qualities?! But it certainly furnishes no argument that will assist you out of the hole you are in, does it?!

Of course they were in a cave. Would he have gotten drunk with his daughters in public?? And would the incest have taken place, were he in public??

The bible myths do not say why Lot feared for his life and what segment of society hunted him. It does not indicate whether it had to do with his offer of his two daughters to a gang rape. We do know that he did fear for his life, and we do know he had his cave well stocked with wine. We know further that he got plastered for two nights in succession--removed from the judging eyes and the lawful reach of society--and that on both of those nights he committed incest with each of his daughters--getting them both pregnant.

The first nine verses of 2 Peter 2 intend to show God’s Power and Will to punish the wicked, the sinful, the immoral, the disobedient--and to preserve the Just and the Righteous. The fallen angels and the sexually deviant of Sodom are shown as examples of the former, while the two drunkards, Noah and Lot, are held forth as instances of the latter.

For most human beings, of course, there is nothing to debate. The minds and the hearts of decent humans know immediately that Lot was exceedingly evil to offer his daughters to be raped by a gang of thugs--and he was no less wicked in drinking to oblivion with them for two successive nights. As a result of this incest (and assisted by his virility and his potency)…they both became pregnant.

Most kids look up their father as Protector. I wonder how these two daughters felt when he offered them to the men of Sodom??

Hardly a way for a father to behave. All people of common decency condemn the act and condemn the man. I have traveled widely in the world and have many years behind me. You are the only person I have ever met who considers Lot to be without blame in this bible myth. You have not even condemned his offering of his two young daughters to the gang of thugs to be raped. You had the opportunity for several posts to pass a normal judgment on his heinous behavior. But you evaded all moral responsibility.

Something is terribly wrong about you and I need you to know that just posting to you is somewhat nauseating.
