Some interesting tidbits from SIMO's release.

Q2 sales beat estimates by about $18m. Up 19% quarter over quarter. Not too shabby.

Q3 sales were guided up above current consensus. Up 10%-15%, which isn't too bad following an up 19% sequential growth number.

Op Ex was $69m. I think that's a record high.

They didn't buy any stock. Odd. The share price hit $38 in Q2, a good time if ever to buy stock!

Inventories are up, which make sense since they expect sales to increase strongly in the next two quarters. Good.

No word on the new office completion.

Bullish commentary on their 2026 prospects. All their new products (there are a lot) are expected to "grow to scale" (whatever that means......a lot?) in 2026.

SIMO's got a great story at the moment. Not sure what will be the next "stumbling block" cuz currently it sounds like smooth sailing for a while.

They're still maintaining sales will be about $250m in Q4 (was about $200m in Q2). And they way they're talking it sounds like 2026 will also show growth, from what level who knows, but I think it's likely 2026 sales exceed $1 billion.

They also said something interesting about moving toward selling higher priced products as their is strong demand for their "complete solutions". Not sure what they're talking about.....their bread and butter is flash controllers - one chip. I supposed autos and some others may want modules, but I didn't know this was big business with SIMO - they'll probably explain themselves on the call tomorrow morning.
