Fuchi ibm suggested that they would be reducing their Power-pc production and that they are not willing to go head to head against intel which may mean that ibm might be more agreeable on their take. There was also some article about expansion of foundry deals in Asia. While there were no specifics about amd the article was listed under amd. You're right about 97.
