Habitrail, I use Worden's Brother's TC 2000 for scanning and all my other indicator needs. It rocks...probably the best available to the amateur. Believe it or not Tokyo Joe turned me on to it back in '98 <g> Julius Wong uses it very successfully..so does Sun-tzu...both on SI..search people.. You can customize the TC2000, and bottom line: I couldn't live without it after tweaking it to my parameters. It is very accurate. I also use Townsend Analytics Real Tick as a trading platform..awesome...and last but not least, Stockcharts.com to verify, and see what everyone else sees. <g> But for scanning and accuracy, it's TC2000 for me.
