Mine was a gift, and yes the Palm Pilot II (or professional) has email , and extra memory (1 meg total). The new Palm III is basicly a Pro with even more memory I think. The new one is thinner, but otherwise similar I believe. Go look at one, they are pretty cool. And if you are really in the market for such a thing, make sure and compare them with Windows CE units, and other palmtop units. Personally I am SO HAPPY to not be using yet another microsoft product. I prefer the Pilot. Others may like Windows CE. James
