Santiago, I must apologize to Lewis for such a mistake. I now understand the meaning of your statement. If one listens to the words, and descriptions, of Jesus, he can formulate a doctrine because, he has learned something. Listening to wise, and well studied men, can add to this doctrine. It is very true that one must take special care on who he listens to. As warned in Timothy, there are many charlatans who claim to be teachers, and preachers, that speak only from their human opinions instead of what is truly the Word of God. I have noticed many of these people in governments, and, unfortunately, within the Christian family. At least they claim to be part of the Christian family. Jesus warned us of the coming of false prophets, and they are among us.
