I don't know if you wanted a response only from pavlov 1, but
I've been watching HEG myself. I wouldn't short it yet. It's
forming an ascending triangle and gearing itself up for another
move higher (my take anyway). These do eventually fall back to
earth, but this one's got room to move higher yet judging by
the tightness of the trading.

FWIW, here is Canaccord's latest on HEG (based on 06-Mar-98)...

Hegco Canada HEG:A 244,600 3.10 +.24 Very strong day with flow
tests results expected next week on El Grande gas well with potential
for 1 TCF. High leverage with 65% int. if this first well is a success.


If memory serves, the $15 level was being thrown around as a
pie-in-the-sky target. Basically, it's the same sh!t as when the
$50 target was being thrown around last fall for UP:VSE.
