John, Nasdaq just announced new listing requirements for the National Market that pretty much eliminate the NTA requirement. Companies with a $5 stock price and a $50 M market cap don't have to meet it anymore. And that pretty much eliminates any co. you would consider shorting. You can find the new rules at nasdaq.com

This is a big change. I will no longer look for National Market companies with low or negative book value as a delisting play, due to this.
