Las Vegas, NV – Phoenix Metals U.S.A II, Inc. (PMTU) begins three shift separation of produced dore metal at the Black Mountain precious metals refinery, Searchlight, Nevada. The Company announces availability of its new World Wide Web Site to be found on the Internet under www.phoenixmetals.com.
Phoenix Metals U.S.A II, Inc. is staffed and will commence three shift precious metal dore production following scheduled winter smelter and equipment maintenance. The Company is now operating its electrowinning separation facilities around the clock using inventoried produced dore metal at the Black Mountain refinery in Searchlight, Nevada. Continuous smelting operations will improve throughput efficiencies, dore quality and cycle wear on the Company's smelters. The electrowinning recovery systems are being expanded from six to twelve cells during the months of November and December, 1998. Further equipment and refinery expansion is planned for 1999.
The Internet World Wide Web site for Phoenix Metals is now available for viewing by shareholders and interested parties under the address www.phoenixmetals.com and is accessible through most major search engines. The site features are best viewed using the Microsoft Internet Explorer 3.2 and 4.0, and Netscape Navigator browsers. The visitor is provided insight into the Company's business and technology niche, philosophy, corporate profile including photographs and ongoing operations. A section has been included responding to topics of interest and frequently asked questions.
