Lawrence,

I just did a quick search on the internet and came up with these:

On SAG (Software AG of Germany), just a sampling:

exchange2000.com
redherring.com
att.com
hoovers.com
softwareag.com

On Vestal Electronics (in Turkish):

medyatext.com

On Brokat:

pathfinder.com
brokat.de

As far as trading these companies here, you may or may not be able to do so. Find a brokerage that deals in foreign issues or deal directly with a European brokerage by telephone. Also check to see if these companies have ADRs that trade on the US exchanges. Software AG is a very likely ADR candidate if their stock doesn't outright trade on the US markets. Be aware of the special tax situations that you get involved with when investing in foreign companies. Also, be knowledgeable about the additional risk of currency fluctuations, and the additional risk of political and social unrest that is sometimes present. Foreign taxes, US taxes and currency fluctuations can take a very heavy toll on your foreign investment profits. Read through a prospectus for a European mutual fund to get some idea of what's involved when directly investing in foreign equities.
