>I DD'd this to death and think we have an undiscovered winner. < Agree. This thing bottomed out in 1995 and is on a stead up trend, if you look at 10 year chart. However, one of two things need happen to make HOEN really moving, in my opinion.
(1) HOEN go on line --- remember they have offices not only in the States, but London, Tokyo, and Hong Kong. Compare with EGRP and SIEB, international client reach, big plus!
(2) Some stock price rich firms, such as SCH, EGRP, and so on start buying firms like HOEN. They don't have to buy HOEN. Just let the merge party start, then we are on our way to .... (put your target here).
I feel (1) or (2) bound to happen. As a matter of fact, even without (1) and (2), HOEN is a solid hold just by following their 5 year up trend started on 1995.
The market looks not that good now. May be tomorrow things like JBOH and SIEB will start falling apart. We are so lucky and get out in time. But for HOEN, it has no debt but decent earning, we, pride shareholders of HOEN, can wait to be rewarded.
