With the Cisco report due out tonight, I doubt the market will do much with the rest of the day. It will be interesting to see after the report what the reaction is. One thing that we all too often see people get caught up in is trading the news. Trading the news is STUPID. In the list of stupid things I can think of for a trader to do, it would go right up there with blowing your stops and risking too much money. If a company comes out with bad news, and the stock goes up...thats a sign to you. That means the stock, or market, is sold out..its a strong sign if something goes up on "bad" news...remember MOT..that was a great sign for the entire market So, be smart, trade the reaction to the news...not the news.
