Bravo! Foods and Tabatchnick Fine Foods Team Up to Help America's Neediest
Friday February 3, 12:05 pm ET
Participation in USDA Program Includes Shipping of 4 Million Units of Nutritious, Shelf-Stable Milk to Thousands Through Faith-Based Organizations

NORTH PALM BEACH, Fla., Feb. 3 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Bravo! Foods International Corp. (OTC Bulletin Board: BRVO - News), a brand development and marketing company that manufactures, promotes and distributes vitamin- fortified, flavored milks, announced today that it has partnered with Tabatchnick Fine Foods, Inc. to ship 4 million units of high-quality, nutritious, shelf-stable milk to the USDA's National Non-Profit Humanitarian Initiative (NNHI) that benefits the nation's needy, as part of its production agreement with Tabatchnick.

The NNHI program works with faith-based non-profits across the country ranging from America's Second Harvest to the Salvation Army and Red Cross, in an initiative to feed the hungry and homeless and to assist in major national emergencies. The Initiative was first announced Sept. 17, 2003 and provides government surplus inventory of non-fat dry milk (NDM) to about 73 organizations that in turn deliver the non-fat dry milk nationwide. While NNHI helps meet the nutrition needs of the disadvantaged, the program also reduces surplus government stocks of NDM.

Specifically, Tabatchnick is selling Bravo!'s Slammers® Flavored Milk through the NNHI by supplying over 4 million units of 8 oz. fortified UHT milk. The product will be shipped nationwide through March.

Tabatchnick Fine Foods, a well-known family-owned business with more than 100 years' experience in the food industry, has established relationships with the USDA and its program partners nationwide. It has been selling high-quality and nutritious food products through a series of government Commodity Food Programs in schools for many years.

Bravo! CEO Roy Warren said, "We are pleased about this latest partnership with Tabatchnick and the opportunity for Bravo! Foods to help. We will continue to seek ways to work with the USDA in government-supported programs that allow us to bring more high-quality and healthier products to those who are most vulnerable. We welcome the opportunity to assist whenever we can."

Ben Tabatchnick, president of Tabatchnick Fine Foods, said, "We have a history of providing healthy, nutritious food to school hot lunch programs nationwide and this is a natural extension of that effort. If we can help those most vulnerable with quality products like Bravo!'s Slammers® Flavored Milk, we are delighted to do so and participate in such an important initiative."

Tabatchnick continued, "Teaming up with Bravo! we've been able to exceed expectations by providing a more nutritious alternative to traditional dairy products that have limited shelf life and require extended refrigeration."

Bravo! Foods and Tabatchnick Fine Foods have teamed up in the past on similar government-run initiatives. Together, they have sold millions of units of various Slammers® products through government programs across the country.
