Agree 100%
Don, I could not agree more with what you are saying. I definitely think now is the time to buy. After being to the PC show at the Jarvis Center in NYC lately and watching what Apple Motorola and IBM has going I have a strong feeling that this is not only hype, definitely not.
This industry is changing so fast and being able to see what Apple is really doing, to be on the forefront, I will be very very surprised if the company comes even close to going under.
It is strange how many people actually buy into all the "crap" that has come out about Apple being doomed. With the new PPC platform, running virtually all essensial OS, and joint venture on the new NC, I can't even imagine why they should not survive. Has anybody read the the July issue of MacWorld? Sure Mac has only some 9 or 10 % of market share, but a very significant one, that other businesses would kill for. Everybody is taking a beating on PC sales, that is highly nomal after a year like 95.
Survive? a company that is bigger than FedEx, MacDonalds (quote Macworld) you gotta be kiddding.
The only big IF with all companies that struggle is, do they have adequate management to lead the road ahead. This new strategy definitely has a big potential, and we do not know if they will succeed until a year or two. That is the exitement of the stockmarket.
Paul.
