It looks like you were right on the money with your suspicions, Gary. My heart stopped yesterday when I saw the opening price! I think it's rather ironic that the market reacted as it did considering the title of the yearly report was headed with "record fourth quarter"... this is just another example that illustrates what stock prices are really based on. In this case I believe the report mentioned that the "transition and repositioning of both new and existing products" would significantly impact the sales and earnings during the first half of the year. Apparently they plan on returning to higher profit levels after the first half of the fiscal year. Does anyone know the specifics of this plan? Why would it impact their bottom line so much? Is it a step to secure a greater market share, as they seem to imply? The entire report follows this message...
