robbie, that's not bad performance at all. If I'm not mistaken though, Tony has done better than that in the few months this thread is open. I find that short selling smooths out the ride though. One of my fondest memories is 10/27/97. That was my best day in 1997. Of course I had some luck in that I couldn't get through to my broker to cancel my cover orders. <g> There's no reason not to play both ways. Barb
