I would like to compare the IQ of Greeks during the classical period with the present day. I figure there is about a 25 point difference. Romans seemed smart by their literature but in their entire history they did not produce one mathematician. The population with the most mathematicians of note is the Germans. Next are the French. The Canadians have the least # of math geniuses in modern times. Populations with larger families tend to have lower average IQ's for reasons that are obvious only to people who have high IQ's.

I believe due to the unique demographics, population and economic mercantile imperatives of the colonial administrations, which needed only physical labourers and did not want to lose their best thinkers, that Canadians have the lowest average IQ of any nation with the possible exception of Stupidia, an island in the Pacific which is only populated by birds.

The highest average IQ of any group is set of people with the last name of Thompson. The lowest is ones with the last name of Smith. It is thought that this is because if that is all they can think of when signing the hotel register, they are not that all that imaginative.
