That is only a concern if they live.

Might I suggest SIG .357. It is good enough to protect King George and you only need ONE shot. One shot is about 95% lethal. Two shots, well two shots is off the chart.

There are NO legal problems if you only have your side of the story to tell. As my friend (a Michigan cop) tells me. If you shoot them in your house and they manage to escape out the door or window before death, then pull them back in. The paperwork is a whole lot shorter.
