<Strong families survive, and weak ones dissolve
and disappear.>

This seems to be a natural process which is quite logical. If you accept that weak families do not nurture well, and good nurturing is absolutely vital for strength, this is beneficial to the human family as a whole. Dysfunctional parents produce dysfunctional children unless there is some therapeutic intervention, or healthier members of the extended family step in.

On a slightly different but related topic, I read the other day that Lego is laying off ten percent of its work force because the growth of market share of electronic toys has lessened demand. I think this is really dangerous for the world's children. Since the beginning of time children have played actively outside, and manipulated physical objects. This seems to be vital to proper child development. The move to passive childhoods spent in front of televisions and keyboards, and especially the growth in "lapware" for tiny babies, might produce much weaker children overall. Does anyone else have an opinion on this?
